 Parempaa Kuuloa Kaikille

Finnish research group focusing on the diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of hearing loss

This research group has been active at Kuopio University Hospital since 2008. We are a multidisciplinary team bringing together experienced researchers, medical doctors, and experts in technology and physics. Working in close collaboration with international research partners and industry, we combine clinical insight with technical innovation.

Our work focuses on developing novel solutions for the diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation of hearing loss. We also advance safer and more effective otologic surgery by creating and refining new surgical methods and technologies. In addition, we conduct research on temporal bone anatomy, imaging, and computational modeling to deepen understanding and improve clinical outcomes.

On this website, you can learn more about our research activities, ongoing projects, publications, and collaborators.

Our aim

  • To raise awareness of the benefits of hearing rehabilitation.
